It has been too long! I have some serious blogging to do because I am way behind events!

As many of you know, my mother is a large animal fan so, as usual, we hit up the dog show this year!

These are the best of the Cow Palace Dog Show 2009 (I'm sure it has an official name.. oh well)



I am even thinking about entering next year...






I was excited to see the largest dogs ever.. and I think we succeeded with this big horse looking creature





















Mike agreed to come, little did he know he was going to a dog show.... but I think it became one of this favorite things. We found our favorite dogs, I got attacked by THE ugliest animal God has ever made (no offense). However, while he is very ugly, he has good taste in purses! I danced with the cutest pug ever too.















Mike was a larger fan of the rottweilers and the mastiffs... And while everyone knows I am very into chihuahuas, I must say it was the bulldogs that really took me by surprise with their fat cuteness!!!










While my favorite breed was bulldogs, I must say Jimmy Boy stole my heart...

A Rough Start...

So after seeing my amazing blogging skills, my boyfriend, Mike, became very jealous he didn't get to make an appearance. This is, of course, his fault because I had no pictures of him. SO, after the event I am about to unfold, I made sure I took enough photos to document the situation. So it goes a little something like this:

He gets really excited about starting school...

And I also do not enjoy the beginning of another painfully hard semester, so in order to cheer ourselves up, we headed over to the bookstore to buy notebooks. School supplies really do bring joy to my heart and maybe one day I will win a shopping spree at Staples or something. But back to the story. I told Mike I would buy him a notebook and a pen to get him excited for his classes... and when we got back, we noticed this:


IT IS LEFT HANDED!!!!!!! (Mike is not left handed)

I think Mike was actually more excited after he found out it was left handed... I mean, what a rarity! So while he had to come to terms with the fact that he has to take notes backwards, I said hello to a familiar face: ¡¡¡Dos Mundos!!! Es verdad y muy triste.

Despite the obvious challenges ahead of us, we are determined to survive spring semester 09. And Mike - Welcome to the blog babe!!!

I'm an RA (Resident Assistant) in Cheney Hall at Cal... we love inclusion and community!!

I Love Berkeley... cause I go to UC Berkeley..

I have a Jesus Tattoo... as the tattoo artist called it..
And I really struggle taking normal photos...



But then again, so do Jon and Rachel (newly engaged!)...
